杜小康原本是村子里最富有的孩子，一直过着衣食无忧的生活，但因为他父亲投资生意失败，一夜间负债累累，杜小康也一下子从快乐无忧的少爷变成了忧心忡忡的少年，他害怕过、无助过，但他并没有一蹶不振、停下前行脚步，而是勇敢的向前迈进，挫折、困难使他成熟与成长，微笑面对挫折使他变得更加勇敢。人生之路，从来都是与挫折相伴而行，挫折对于弱者来说就是一道道绊脚石，会把弱者摔得鼻青脸肿，而对于强者则是一块块垫脚石，是通向成功的一级级阶梯。
