from the chart,we can find that the number of people registering for state civil service exam generally increased in recent years.in 2009,there were 775,000 people taking part in the exam.in 2014,it soared to 1,119,500,nearly 1.5 times of the number of 2009.however,the number declined to 1,050,000 in 2015.
there are two main reasons responsible for this phenomenon.for one thing,compared with other jobs, the position as a civil servant means a "golden bowl"characterized by stability,well-paid salary and sound welfare.for another,with the increased enrollment of high education and the intense competition in the job market,it is more and more difficult for graduates to find a satisfactory job.there is no doubt that a lot of students want to have a bet on their luck.however,the number of people registering for the exam declined in 2015 because of a sharp decrease in the overall income and welfare of civil service jobs.
